Bruce Munro at Waddesdon Manor, UK
During the autumn through winter season of 2012 the Manor has played host to two light based artworks by Bruce Munro
Angel of Light inspired by the music of the Finnish composer Einohujani Rautavaara (b.1928) and Blue Moon on a Platter a work that responded to his first visit to the Manor and an area of sculpted lawns, an intimate space surrounded by tall trees.
Forming part of the Contemporary Art Programme at the Manor this exhibition was part of Munro’s four year residence at Waddesdon Manor built by the Rothschild family in the 1870s.
