Field of Light: Avenue of Honour will be an immersive, site-specific, ephemeral art installation symbolizing, sacrifice, honour, peace and hope, that will gently illuminate the tree-lined Avenue of Honour along Mt. Clarence in Albany, Western Australia; the destination from which over 41,000 men and women departed Australia for the Great War. read more
The installation was commissioned by the non-profit cultural organization FORM with the City of Albany; and made possible by funding from the Australian Government and State Government, with the support of Christine & Kerry Stokes AC.
It will will be on exhibit until Anzac Day in April 2019, coinciding with the end of the Anzac Centenary commemorations.
